Took me five minutes to swap out the old bracket, and the doorbell sits flush against the wall now with no wobble at all. It’s clearly the proper part for the wired model, since the screw holes lined up perfectly without any drilling or guesswork.
Was hesitant about the angled mount since our wall isn't perfectly flat, but the bracket's design compensated for it beautifully. Installation took under five minutes and the doorbell sits flush with zero wobble. Exactly what I needed for the wired setup.
The screw holes lined up perfectly with my existing wiring, and the bracket feels sturdy enough to hold the doorbell flush against the brick. Installation was done in one try, no fiddling or re-drilling needed.
