The solar panel actually keeps up — I get about 3 hours of direct sun on the south side and haven't touched a charger since mounting them. Night footage is surprisingly clear thanks to the infrared LEDs, I can make out the neighbor's cat on the driveway at 2am.
Bought the 3-pack for around the property and the solar panels keep them topped up with just a few hours of sun, so I haven't touched a charger yet. The f/1.6 lens pulls in a surprising amount of light after dark too.
